My Story

My name is David and I live in the beautiful county of Somerset in England, where I was born.

However during my life I have lived in both Hungary and France while working as a teacher of English.

I have always had a passion for images and photography. Focusing on nature and the captivating geometric patterns that can be found. This fits well with my fascination with sacred geometry, ancient symbols and cultures. I am constantly seeking a better understanding of the world and my place in it.

My father was a carpenter by trade. Growing up he was able to create useful and functional items for our home. Because of his introduction to wood at an early age, it has embedded in me the amazing workability and beauty of this natural material.

The Grain Attraction

The work I now create has lead me to a place of inner peace. The pure joy and satisfaction of working with wood. Bringing out the best of its natural beauty gives me more satisfaction than anything else I have done in my life.

I endeavour to let the wood talk to me and find a design that fits it best. Every piece is handmade by myself in my workshop.
