Beautiful Solid Oak Spoon Rest in this attractive natural wood with a gorgeous grain.
Large spoon rest designed with flowing curves to elegantly hold kitchen utensils when cooking or serving at the dinning table.
Turn it over and it could also be used to place a hot saucepan or serving plate on akin to a trivet.

This Oak spoon rest is finished to an extremely high standard. When wood gets wet, the grain will rise and make the surface feel rough. To overcome this I have sanded these salad servers smooth and then soaked in water to raise the grain three times. Each time sanding and bring the finish back to silky smooth. Finally feeding the wood with a high quality food safe wax oil.
